What We Do

Member Benefits

Caregivers on the Homefront is a community of caregivers of wounded, ill, or injured veterans of all eras, as well as, our first responders that have been wounded, ill, or injured on duty. Through our mission of providing caregivers with hopefulness, a sense of togetherness, and a firm foundation of resiliency we will provide the following:

  • Mental Health & Wellness Restorative Weekend

During the year, we will host Mental Health & Wellness (MH&W) Restorative Weekend. There is no cost to attend. You will have a chance to gain tools to lead you on a successful caregiving journey. You will also get the opportunity to share your stories with other caregivers that understand what you are going through. You must be a member of Caregivers on the Homefront to register for our retreats. If you are not a member of our community, please click here to join.

  • Support Groups

Support groups are held by caregivers just like you who volunteer their caregiving experience to serve as facilitators. The goal of our support groups are to provide a foundation of resiliency among our caregivers so that they can better care for the loved one in their lives. If you would like to volunteer your time to be a peer group facilitator click here.

  • Online Support Group

Be a part of our virtual community group which allows those caregivers that can’t attend a peer facilitated group to get connected to other caregivers. Through our partnership with the Red Cross’s program, Military and Veteran Caregiver Network, you can find hopefulness, togetherness, and a firm foundation of resiliency. Click here to enter the Caregivers on the Homefront’s online support group at the MVCN.

  • Facebook

You will be able to become a member of our private Facebook page. This will give you a safe and secure Facebook group where you can connect with other caregivers any time that you need to!

  • Newsletter

Our newsletters are sent out monthly through email. The newsletter will contain new caregiver information, upcoming events, contests, and success stories. This will also be a place for us to highlight our caregivers.
